Home base for the week: Ocean Tower Room 2048. On the first floor, no elevator needed! It even has a walk-in closet!
You can either get around by gondola or tram. Both run on tracks. Both were specially built for the hotel.
Buddha point at the north end of the hotel, just before you get to the golf course. Hmm, wonder who prays there...
Our building, the Ocean Tower, is the circular one behind the trees. I know, you were looking at the water.
A private dining room off Imari, the main Japanese restaurant.
The Palace Tower, an open-air hotel building.
Flamingo sanctuary. Can you tell which ones are real and which are fake?
Bridge between the Chapel/Flamingo sanctuary and the Lagoon Pool.
The Lagoon Pool is the "beach" at the Hilton. It's fed by ocean water and has fish and turtles in it.
This is also where the fun toys are: hydrobikes, paddle boats, kayaks, snorkels
DolphinQuest is between the Lagoon and Kona Pools. Walk under a waterfall to get to the Main Lobby.
The largest pool here, the Kona Pool. Big with waterfall, but not my favorite - too many people.
Some characters at the kiddie pool.
Greeter at the Kona pool.
My favorite pool, the Kohala River Pool by the Ocean Tower.
