Happy Memorial Day!

We like having Grandma and Grandpa around. Grandpa takes us for walks in the morning. Poker follows Grandma all around the kitchen waiting for food to drop. He sits ready to munch. Sometimes Grandma drops kernels of corn, but we don't do so well catching them. Mom gives us a big carrot. We like that better.

Euchre found a new spot to lay on Grandma. His tongue doesn't fit in his mouth any way he lays down.

Poker finds a spot on Mom.

Yesterday we stayed home when Mom took Grandma and Grandpa into the city. Grandma rode a bicycle for the first time! It's a conference bike that holds seven people. They pedaled from Federal Hill past the Inner Harbor to Fells Point and had croissants at Bonaparte Bakery with some of Mom's friends. One of the bikers is a reporter from the Baltimore Sun newspaper who's writing an article about the conference bike. And there was a photographer from the Sun too. The article should be out around June 7. We'll have to post a link here when it comes out.

Grandma may be coming back for a visit to watch us when Mom is at the long regatta. We'll show her well we can behave. We smell her cooking now. Time to go!
