We didn't get to go, so Mom took these pictures for us. The American Visionary Arts Museum in Baltimore has a Kinetic Sculpture Race every year. The moving sculptures travel from the museum in Federal Hill, past the Inner Harbor, through Little Italy and Fells Point and land in Canton at the Waterfront Park to get launched in the Harbor! They do a quick turn in the water while crowds of people gather to watch if they float or sink! There are very specific rules that the sculptures (and the spectators must follow)...
AVAM is where we go for the doggie parade on the 4th of July. Here we are in the parade last summer. The big pink doggy is there too!
