Our weekend in the sun

We got to play outside all weekend! The weather was nice so Mom took us with her to the boathouse for the regatta. We walked around and found lots of people to pet us. We even showed off our wrestling moves on the grass. When we got tired, we had a shady spot to hang out inside the boathouse. Our playpen was set up in the back by the results table where it was cool and we had water and toys and people. Our friends Zoe and Elmo were also there, but they didn't like staying in the pen with us. Elmo jumped out and escaped! After that, they had to be tied to the table leg. ha ha.

We got to eat all our favorite treats, too. Mom brought bananas and carrots for us. Gunther also fed us some watermelon. Yum... Here we give him, rather it, our full attention.


At the end of the day we were tired (and dirty --Mom) doggies. We went home, had some dinner and went straight to bed. Me, too. --Mom

The next morning, we got a bath right away. Then when Mom came back from the gym, we got to hang outside on the deck. She set up the fan outside, some music, our waterbowls, and misted us with water to cool us off. We like to lay out in the sun! We started panting so she put us inside, but we just stayed at the door waiting to go back outside. She let us come out again.




All that laying in the sun makes us tired, so then we went inside and slept on the couch until bedtime.
