Our first Philly regatta

Mom took us to Philadelphia on Saturday. We helped her time the race starts at the Navy Day Regatta. It was a cool sunny day. We liked the breeze. It was a long 15 minute walk from the car to the start tower. We were happy when we got there. Our area was like a big concrete playpen covered by a tent. We felt right at home.

Euchre made Mom nervous by standing on the wall. (It was like a 20-foot drop!! --Mom) He liked watching the boats go by.

Eventually he laid down, but Mom made him move so he wouldn't roll off the side.

Poker was good and sat guarding Mom's stuff (and the water bowls)

Maybe if we sit by the sidewalk, someone will come and pet us.

It worked!

Is it time to go home yet?

When we got home, Mom fed us dinner and gave us baths. Then we slept for a loooong time.
