After the park, we were really stinky and dirty, so we both got baths. Clean doggies! Euchre knew it would be warm outside so he stood by the back door in the kitchen until Mom opened the door to let him outside. Poker went out too. We found a sunny spot to lay in until we dried off a bit.
Later, Aunt Laura came to watch the Super Bowl. She came for the game last year too! We wore our football jerseys again.
Yeah, and this year I'm skinnier than you. --Poker
That's only because Mom forgot to feed us dinner tonight. --Euchre
Nala also came to visit us this year. She brought Bruce and Char with her. We tried to play with her, but she ran into the laundry room, then upstairs, to go hide. Nala stayed on the chair after that. A couple of times she barked, which made us woof a lot. We think it was a trick because everyone was laughing at us.
There was a lot of yummy food. We especially liked the carrots and celery. Poker tried to sneak carrots. Euchre kept trying to sneak a lick of the veggie dip. Since Poker couldn't get his head in the bowl, he would shake real hard and slobber would go flying! It didn't land in the food, but one time it landed on his own head!
Soon, Euchre got bored with walking around. Poker kept going around to all the people though.
But pretty soon, he was tired too.
He perked up a bit when Mom got his big ball out of the corner. He chased it all around the basement and it crashed loudly into the metal vertical blinds a couple times. Everyone was impressed when the ball went into a corner and he was able to bounce it out.
Later, we were both happy when we got to sit on the couch. We each had a person petting us. We like the Super Bowl!
Mom taped the Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet so we can watch over and over again.
