Mom is sick

Mom came home early from work yesterday. We thought she came back to play with us, but she was sick. Her sore throat and her muscles hurt. The medicine she took made her sleepy. She had to take a nap (We can relate) and let us sleep on the bed upstairs with her. We weren't really that sleepy so we watched tv on the bed with the sound on mute. Euchre slept with his head on the pillow next to hers to keep an eye on her, then Poker would trade off and Euchre would watch tv.

We went downstairs for a late dinner and then went back upstairs to bed. Mom felt a little better but still didn't talk very well - except for when she had to yell at Poker. He was running all around wanting to play, but Mom wasn't feeling up to it.

She's back to work today and we're back to hanging out in the kitchen.
