We rode around with Mom for a few errands today, then she took us to Mount Vernon in downtown Baltimore for a walk around the parks. It was a crisp, bright January day and even though she forgot to bring water for us, we weren't overheated.
The Pretentious Pooch is a dog boutique just up from the City Cafe on Cathedral. Mom found the store by searching for retailers of our favorite healthy treat. They have them and so much more! We also met our tall cousin, Chai. She's an American Bulldog. We checked out her bed in the window. It's pretty comfy and warm there. You can see lots of people coming and going on the sidewalk below. We should have a bed near our window! (We did. But you chewed up the ledge, remember? --Euchre Oh, yeah. Sorry --Poker.) We thought the floor was pretty comfy too. We both layed out on the floor when Mom was taking too long.
Here are the goodies we got today:
A red collar and leash with dog bones and balls, and a light blue collar with fire hydrants. Mom has to go back and exchange the collars before we can wear them - We're a size Large now!
More Sam's Yams - the Big Boyz size this time, and some new Duck Treats to try.
Unclonymous wanted to get us this Wubba a while back. Poker loves it. It's got a BIG squeaker, no - make that a SQUAWKER. Euchre likes playing tug-of-war with Poker and Mom, grabbing the long canvas tails.
We can't wait to go back to get more toys and try more flavors of treats, venison...salmon... yummy!

Looks like the bullies are getting good at the modeling -- i.e. behaving/staying-still-long-enough-to-get-their-pictures-taken.
Oooo... the trip sounds like it was a lot of fun. I want to go next time! I call Shotgun! (*gnaw gnaw gnaw*)
We pose nicely, and then as soon as Mom wants to take a picture, we make sure to sit on top of the "extras" she's trying to take a picture of.
Treats? Leashes? It's all about us! Just us in the picture!
