Our trip to the Eastern Shore

Mom took us on a surprise trip to St. Michaels, MD on the Eastern Shore. We were happy to get in the car. We didn't care where we were going. It was dark when we went and Poker slept in the front seat of the Mini. Euchre sat in the back and looked out the window the entire time. Mom got to sleep soon after we got there.

The next morning we woke up and found a friend to play with! It's Ami, a Westie, and her Mom, Kelly.

She was scared when we tried to play with her.

But eventually she got used to us.

St. Michael's from the Farmer's Market. Check out that cannon!

Curt and his dad Roger take Mom out on the boat. Hey! Eyes up front!

That's better.

Must be a party. Nine big boats tied together.

Good day for a sail. 30 sailboats all out at one time.

Coming into St. Michaels by boat.

Mom, Curt, Kelly, and Roger have dinner at the Crab Claw.

Mom tells us this tastes good. We'll take her word for it.

Ducks like corn, not crackers.

Meanwhile, we're back at the house. In the cage.

Uncle Curt loves the doggies!

Ami wants to say goodbye to us.

Bye! Thanks Roger, Kelly, Curt, and Judy! We had a great time!

Now we're back home. We're tired but happy.
